As aviation enthusiasts, we can help. Our hobby provides an extra set of eyes and ears on the airport perimeter, supporting the efforts of police and airport security personnel by reporting unusual or suspicious activities. Plane spotting is based on observing and recording, whether by camera or notebook, and we have the opportunity to use our pastime to help serve the community at large.
